ON SITE CONSULTATION
Prior to your equine photo session, our photographer will consult with you and your horse at your property to provide an on site evaluation of background, lighting and posing options for you and your horse, whether your horse is at liberty, under saddle or haltered. 


PREPARING FOR YOUR PORTRAIT
Bathe and groom your horse the day before your portrait session, and keep your horse confined in a clean stall for at least 24 hours prior to the portrait shoot in order to keep your horse's energy level high.  Just before the portrait shoot, do a quick groom to shine up your horses body, mane and tail.

YOUR SESSION
Your session will last between 90 minutes and 2 hours and will include a variety of poses and positions to obtain the most flattering image and angle of your horse.   Your horse will require an experienced handler to assist with "ears up" and gaining the horses attention. 


VIEWING YOUR PHOTOS
Your photos will be ready for viewing a few days after your shoot online, or at the studio office and your photographer will provide a consultation to help you select your portrait prints.
