charcoal 2002br/ Robin's use of negative space in this piece is amazing! He did this piece at age 15, when he was spending a lot of time exploring the San Juan Mountains near Rico (our home) and Telluride, CO. Hiking was one of Robin's favorite hobbies. He even wrote in his journal on Amtrak in July 2012 about how much he was looking forward to hiking with us that summer.
